Distribution ​

Publishing an episode puts it in your RSS feed. Distribution is everything that happens next: getting your show listed in the directories listeners actually search (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube Music, and more), sharing links that work for everyone, and keeping an eye on where your show is live.

Everything lives in one place: go to Settings → Distribution.

For shows hosted on PodcasterPlus

The Distribution tab appears for podcasts hosted on PodcasterPlus. If your show's feed lives at another host, that host controls distribution, so the tab doesn't appear. See Externally Hosted Shows.

How podcast distribution works ​

Your RSS feed is the product. You submit it to a directory once, the directory subscribes to it, and from then on every episode you publish flows out automatically. There is no "uploading to Spotify": every platform reads the same feed.

That means distribution is mostly a launch-week job. Submit once, confirm your listings, and PodcasterPlus keeps the feed fresh and watches for your show going live.

Check you're ready first ​

Directories reject feeds that are missing basics (a description, cover art, at least one published episode). The Submission readiness card at the top of the Distribution page checks all of this for you and links straight to the fix for anything that fails.

Submission buttons stay disabled until the blocking checks pass, so you can't submit a feed that would bounce.
