Getting Started

Welcome to PodcasterPlus! This section walks you through everything you need to get your podcast up and running, whether you are starting a brand-new show or bringing an existing one with you.

New here? Follow these guides in order

  1. Create Your Account: sign up and confirm your email
  2. Create Your Podcast: choose how to host and set up your show
  3. Publish Your First Episode: create an episode, add audio, and go live

Already have a podcast?

You have two ways to bring an existing show into PodcasterPlus:

  • Import Your Podcast: move your show and its back catalogue to PodcasterPlus hosting
  • Connect your existing feed: keep your current host and use PodcasterPlus for booking, automation, and collaboration. See Externally Hosted Shows.

Before You Begin

To get the most out of PodcasterPlus, you'll need:

  • An email address for your account
  • Basic podcast information (title, description, category)
  • An audio file for your first episode (MP3, M4A, or WAV)

Your Get Started Checklist

Once you're signed in, PodcasterPlus tracks your setup progress for you. The Get Started checklist lives at the bottom of your sidebar and ticks itself off as you go. There is no need to mark anything done:

  1. Create your podcast: set up your show
  2. Connect your calendar: enable real-availability booking
  3. Create an episode: draft and publish your first one
  4. Create a booking link: let guests schedule with you
  5. Invite a guest: collaborate through the guest portal
  6. Complete your profile: add your name, bio, and photo
  7. Activate an automation: put guest emails on autopilot with a starter

Each step links straight to the right page in the app, plus a help article here. Prefer a clean sidebar? Dismiss the checklist with the ×. You can bring it back anytime from Account Settings.
