Create a Booking Link
A booking link is a public page where guests pick a recording time from your real availability. Share it in emails, on social media, or on your website. When a guest books, the request lands on your Bookings board for you to confirm.
Before you start
- Connect your calendar so the link only offers times you're actually free
- Know how long your typical recording session runs, plus any breathing room you need before and after
Steps
1. Open the Booking Links page
From your podcast, click Bookings in the sidebar, open the Booking Links tab, and click New Booking Link.
Plan limits
Booking links are pooled across your account and capped by your plan: 1 on Free, 5 on Creator, 25 on Studio, unlimited on Production House and Enterprise. If you're at your limit, the button opens upgrade options instead of the form. See Plan Limits.
2. Name your link
Fill in Basic Information:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | A friendly name for this booking type, shown to guests at the top of the booking page (for example, "Guest Interview") |
| URL Slug | The public address of the page, under book.podcasterplus.com/your-podcast/. Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only |
| Description | Shown to guests on the booking page (optional) |
The slug fills in automatically from the name; edit it if you want something shorter.
3. Set your session format
Under Duration & Buffers:
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Duration | How long each recording slot lasts, from 15 minutes to 6 hours |
| Buffer Before | Time kept free before each booking, so you can prepare |
| Buffer After | Time kept free after each booking, so you can wrap up |
4. Define your availability
In the Availability card, set the weekly hours guests can choose from. Click Add slot next to a day to make it bookable, and add more slots to split a day. Then pick the Timezone your hours are written in.
Guests always see times converted to their own time zone. For buffers, notice periods, and calendar conflict checking in depth, see Availability.
5. Control how bookings arrive
Under Booking Settings:
- Minimum Notice: how much advance notice you need, from 1 hour to 1 week
- Maximum Advance: how far ahead guests can book, from 7 to 120 days. Your plan also caps this window, so the effective limit is whichever is smaller
- Collect Phone Number: ask guests for their phone number on the form
6. Decide how many guests can join
The Multiple guests card offers two mutually exclusive models: several people booking the same slot, or one booker bringing additional guests. Both are covered in Booking Forms.
7. Add questions for your guest (optional)
Use Guest questions to collect anything you need before the session. Answers appear on the booking, on the episode, and in your notification email.
AI guest research
On Creator plans and up, the AI guest research card lets you collect a few structured answers. When you confirm the booking, PodcasterPlus researches your guest and prepares a briefing with suggested interview questions. See Booking Forms.
8. Write a confirmation message (optional)
The Confirmation Message is shown to guests on the success screen after they book and included in their receipt email.
9. Create and share
Click Create Booking Link. Back on the Booking Links page, use Copy booking URL to grab the public address, or Preview booking page to see it as a guest would. The switch on each link toggles it between Active and Inactive without deleting anything.
What happens when a guest books
- The guest picks a slot, answers your questions, and submits the request
- They immediately receive a receipt email confirming their request was received
- The booking appears in the Pending lane of your Bookings board, and a pending episode is created
- You confirm it from the board. Only then does PodcasterPlus email each attendee their confirmation and guest portal link, create the calendar event with the meeting link, and turn the episode into a draft
Bookings are requests until you confirm them
Nothing is promised to your guest at booking time. The confirmation email, calendar invite, and draft episode all happen when you click Confirm booking on the Bookings board. See Manage Bookings.
