Account Settings
Your account settings cover everything personal to you: your profile, how you appear in the Guest Network, your password, and cards showing your subscription and storage.
To get there, click Account Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. The page is titled Settings.
Update Your Profile
The Profile card holds your personal information.
Profile picture
- Click Upload (or Change if you already have one) next to your avatar
- Choose a square image: minimum 200x200 pixels, maximum 2MB, in JPG, PNG, or WebP format
- The picture uploads immediately
Click Remove to go back to your initials.
Profile fields
- Full Name: your name as it appears across PodcasterPlus
- Display Name: how you appear to others, used in guest profiles and credits
- Email: shown for reference only. Your email cannot be changed
- Timezone: used to display and schedule dates. It's pre-filled from your browser, and you can click Detect from browser to refresh it
- Bio: used in your guest profile and episode credits
Under Social Links you can add your Website, Twitter/X Handle, and LinkedIn URL.
Click Save Changes when you're done.
Control Your Guest Network Visibility
The Guest Network section of the Profile card decides whether podcast hosts can discover you as a potential guest.
Toggle Profile Visibility on to make your profile discoverable. When enabled, hosts can find and invite you based on your profile and expertise; your display name, bio, and avatar are visible.
With visibility on, Public Profile Settings appear so you can choose exactly what to share:
- Show website link
- Show Twitter/X handle
- Show LinkedIn profile
- Protect my email address: your email is only shared with hosts after you accept their invitation
Click Save Changes to apply your choices.
Privacy first
Protect my email address is worth switching on if you want to browse invitations before revealing contact details. Hosts can still reach you through PodcasterPlus either way.
Your Subscription
The Subscription card shows your Current Plan with a status badge, plus your renewal date on paid plans.
- Manage Billing (paid plans): opens Stripe's secure billing portal in a new tab
- Upgrade Plan (Free plan): takes you to the pricing page
Paid plans also show upgrade and downgrade buttons for the plans next to yours, such as Upgrade to Studio or Downgrade to Free.
For how plans, allowances, and add-on packs work, see Billing and Plans.
Your Storage
The Storage card shows the total audio uploaded across all your podcasts, how much of your plan's storage you've used, and how many audio files that covers. On plans with unlimited storage it simply shows the total used.
Re-open the Get Started Checklist
The Getting started card controls the setup checklist in your sidebar. The checklist stays visible until every step is complete, and you can dismiss it at any time.
If you've dismissed it and want it back, click Re-open checklist here.
Change Your Password
In the Password card:
- Enter your Current Password
- Enter a New Password (minimum 8 characters)
- Re-enter it under Confirm New Password
- Click Update Password
Locked out?
If you're signed out and can't remember your password, use Forgot password? on the login page instead. See Create Your Account for the reset steps.
Sign Out
The Danger Zone card at the bottom holds the Sign Out button. Signing out ends your session on this device; sign back in any time with your email and password.
