Verify Your Email ​

Before you can open the guest portal, PodcasterPlus checks that you're really the person who was invited. Instead of a password, you confirm your email address once. It takes about a minute.

The Two-Step Flow ​

1. Open your invitation ​

Your host's invitation arrives by email. Click Confirm Email & View Invite (or open the portal link your host shared with you directly).

You'll land on a page that greets you by name, shows the podcast's artwork, and names the episode you're joining.

2. Enter your email ​

  1. In the Email Address field, type the email address you were invited with. The page shows a partially hidden hint (like da***l@ex***e.com) to remind you which address that is.
  2. Click Send Verification Link.
  3. You'll see Check Your Email with next steps: check your inbox for an email from PodcasterPlus, click the verification link, and note that the link expires in 24 hours.

3. Click the link in the email ​

Open the email (its subject is "Verify your email for" followed by the podcast's name) and click Verify & Access Portal. That's it: the portal opens.

Once you're verified, you stay signed in on that device for 7 days. If you come back later than that, just repeat these steps with the same link.

Good to Know ​

  • The link expires in 24 hours and can only be used once. If it expires, request a new one; nothing is lost.
  • Use the exact email you were invited with. If you enter a different address, you'll see "Unable to verify. Please check your email address."
  • Nothing in the email? Check your spam folder first.

On the Check Your Email screen, there's a Send Another Link button. After sending a link, it shows a short countdown (Wait 30s) before you can request another. If you request several in a row, you may be asked to wait a few minutes.

If Something Goes Wrong ​

  • "Invalid Link": your invitation link isn't valid anymore. The page will tell you: "Please contact the podcast host for a new link." Your host can resend it in seconds.
  • "This verification link has expired. Please request a new one.": open your invitation link again, re-enter your email, and click Send Verification Link for a fresh one.
  • "This verification link has already been used.": each emailed link works once. Request a fresh one the same way if you need to get back in.
