The Blocks
PodcasterPlus Blocks gives you a set of individual blocks that combine into a podcast player. Each guide below covers what a block does and the settings that are unique to it.
The play button is required
Every player needs a Play Button. Without it, the episode cannot be played, so add it whenever you build a player.
Player controls
- Play Button: starts and pauses playback. Required in every player.
- Progress Bar: shows and scrubs through playback position.
- Volume Control: adjusts and mutes the volume.
- Playback Speed: lets listeners change how fast the episode plays.
- Skip Controls: jumps forward and backward through the episode.
Episode content
- Episode Title: displays the episode title from your feed.
- Episode Image: displays the episode artwork from your feed.
- Episode Description: displays the episode description, synced or edited by hand.
Layout
- Container: wraps and arranges the other blocks into a player.
Styling
Every block shares the same styling controls. See Styling and Components for color, spacing, sizing, layout, and effects.
