Collaborator cursors stay in the section being edited
Someone editing the host-only section no longer shows a cursor in the shared one, so private drafting stays private.
Show notes are split into three sections, and who can see each one is the whole point of them:
- Shared is visible to everyone on the episode, guests included
- Host only is for you and your team
- Guest private is the guest's own space
With two people in the notes at once, the coloured cursor showing where someone was typing could appear in a section they were not actually in. Someone drafting in Host only could show a cursor sitting in Shared, where a guest would see it.
To be exact about what this was: no private text was ever visible to anyone. The sections stayed separate throughout and only the cursor position crossed between them. It was still wrong, and it made private drafting feel anything but private.
Cursors now belong to the section that owns them, clear when you click away, and are only sent while you are actually working in that section.
