"Booking links are the polite version of stalking your guest's calendar. Mine has booked 41 episodes without a single email back-and-forth."

Automations FAQ

The things you'd ask before wiring it up.

Will my Zapier / Make / n8n setup still work?

Yes. Every automation can fire a webhook to any URL - so the rest of your stack keeps running. Most teams keep Zapier for the long-tail of integrations and use PodcasterPlus Automations for anything that lives inside the show.

What can a trigger actually listen for?

Anything that changes inside the product: a booking confirmed, an episode uploaded, recording finished, show notes finalized, a guest opening their portal, a field changing. If it has a state inside PodcasterPlus, it can fire a rule.

Can I template the payload?

Yes. Drop magic tags like {{episode.title}}, {{guest.email}}, or {{show.slug}} into your URL, JSON body, or email template - they're resolved from the trigger context at fire time.

What happens if a webhook fails?

We retry with exponential backoff for an hour. Failures show up in the run log with the full response body and status, so you can debug without leaving the page. Persistent failures send a notification to your studio inbox.

Are automations shared across a studio's shows?

Yes. Studio-level rules run across every show in the workspace by default, and you can scope a rule to specific shows if a network behaves differently per format. Per-show override beats workspace default.

Do I need to be a developer to use them?

No. Pick a recipe, swap your email template, paste the destination URL. The webhook inspector validates the response so you'll know in seconds if your target is reachable - no curl required.

Make a show. Skip the busywork.
